Following a review of the Government of Canada Financial Management Certificate Program, it has been decided that the certificate program will no longer be offered. As of April 1, 2012, new participants are no longer being accepted into the program.
Over the last 5 years the number of enrolments and graduates has declined. This is due in part to the increase in professional certification opportunities as well as changing demographics and increased university graduates in the field of financial studies. The decision not to proceed with this program is based on these changes.
If you are currently enrolled in the Government of Canada Financial Management Certificate Program, or you have remaining courses in your plan, you must complete them before December 31, 2013, in order to receive credit.
No new requests for course equivalencies will be accepted; only course equivalencies currently recognized by the School will be authorized.
