Strengthening Leadership and Management Capacities

Leadership Programs

The School's leadership programs are your connection to the community of leaders across the Public Service. They address your needs as a leader, focusing on your ability to lead, engage and coach colleagues.

  • Advanced Leadership Program (ALP) Senior Leaders
    Over the past year, a full program evaluation of ALP has been undertaken.

    To allow time for the evaluation to inform program plans, ALP has been put on hold. No new participants have been accepted in the program since the summer of 2010.

  • Direxion Managers
    For aspiring executives at the EX minus 1 to EX minus 2 levels.
    Upcoming Cohorts: February 27 - March 9, 2012 (English); May 28 – June 8, 2012 (English); June 11 - 22, 2012 (English); September 10 - 21, 2012 (French).
  • ileadership Supervisors
    For aspiring managers at the EX minus 3 and EX minus 4 levels.
    Upcoming Cohorts: March 19 - 23, 2012 (French); March 5 - 9, 2012 (English); May 28 - June 1, 2012 (English); October 22 - 26, 2012 (English); November 26 - 30, 2012 (English); January 28 - February 1, 2013; February 11 - 15, 2013 (English).
  • Living Leadership - The Executive Excellence Program Senior Managers
    For executives at the EX-01 to EX-03 or equivalent levels.
    Upcoming Cohort: March 19, 2012 (Bilingual).
