Open Government: Transforming Our Interactions with Canadians

Open Government: Transforming Our Interactions with Canadians

Ensuring Canadians have better access to public information is the cornerstone of open government. With the support of all departments and agencies, Canada's Action Plan on Open Government is a blueprint for providing open data, information sharing and citizen and stakeholder engagement over the next three years.

These learning events will examine Canada's Open Government Strategy which aims to transform data, information and dialogue practices to achieve a more cost-effective, efficient and responsive government. Each workshop will feature guest speakers who will share their experiences and discuss some of the challenges faced by departments and agencies that are at the forefront of Open Government. Select a half-day or full-day workshop according to your learning needs and interests.
