Description
The role of financial officers continues to evolve in step with a heightened focus on internal control, accountability, risk management and the need for demonstrating the achievement of results. This course explores the purpose and function of departmental financial management systems and their links with materiel management, program and other central systems. Participants will learn to understand the roles and responsibilities related to the practices and controls needed to ensure the reliable and accurate flow of financial information from input to decision making.
