Description
The Public Service Employment Act is designed to facilitate recruitment by providing departments and agencies flexibility, while respecting the values of fairness, transparency, accessibility and representativeness.
This course (part II of II) provides staffing specialists with an opportunity to further develop their knowledge and skills associated with the legislative, administrative and values-based decision-making frameworks in the public service.
Participants will learn how to advise and assist managers with the establishment of merit criteria, selection of assessment techniques and evaluation of candidate qualifications. [P802]
