This course explains the role and key requirements of Regulatory Impact Analysis Statements (RIAS) in federal regulatory initiatives. Participants will learn to plan and develop effective RIAS in accordance with the requirements of the Cabinet Directive on Regulatory Management, its related frameworks and the stages of the life cycle approach to regulating.
