Description

Ensuring that government programs are efficient in providing value for taxpayers' dollars is critical for the achievement of management excellence and fiscal discipline. This course introduces the main components of the Policy on Management, Resources and Results Structures (MRRS) and the pivotal role it plays in the expenditure management system by linking program resources to results. Participants will learn how the Policy on MRRS can lead to management excellence by providing evidence-based information on departmental program resources and results. [T191]

  • the Expenditure Management System (EMS)
  • Program Activity Architecture (PAA)
  • Performance Measurement Framework (PMF)
