Description
Employees working in common and administrative services are often required to develop policies, guidelines and other instruments in response to specific departmental needs. This course provides a framework for developing internal instruments with a specific focus on administrative policies. Participants will learn about the key factors that support and influence the internal policy development process and will be given the opportunity to put their newly acquired knowledge into practice through networking opportunities. - internal policy context and triggers
- policy development cycle, process and monitoring
- when and where internal policies are needed
- HR, classification, finance, IM/IT, accommodation, ATIP, values and ethics
