This practical course for functional security specialists covers the basic tasks related to security screening requests and evaluation of a person's reliability and their loyalty to Canada. Participants will learn the various steps of the screening process and the requirements of reliability status and security clearances by working through one or more of the three case studies inspired by real-life scenarios. While completing the case studies, participants will gain experience using the tools needed to analyze screening requests.
