Diversity in the workplace gives an organization the advantage of a much broader perspective and important insights and opportunities for innovation. This online self-paced course focuses on defining diversity, exploring its importance, and overcoming barriers to creating a diverse working environment. Participants will learn how to attract skilled employees from a variety of backgrounds to create an adaptive and resilient workplace culture.

Topics include:

  • defining the key concepts of workplace diversity
  • fostering attractive, cooperative and diverse work environments
  • bridging cultural differences between employees
  • overcoming stereotyping, prejudice and resistance to diversity
