Each department and agency is responsible for managing their own light-duty motor vehicles, which can often be an ongoing operational expense. This online self-paced course introduces guidelines, policies and best practices for the management of vehicles within the federal fleet. Participants will review vehicle procurement in the federal government, explore the management and accountability structure for light-duty vehicles and learn about the efforts underway to green the federal fleet.
This course is recognized by the Certification Program for the Federal Government Procurement and Materiel Management Communities, which is managed by the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat.
