To do their jobs effectively, public service managers are expected to have a solid understanding of their roles, responsibilities and accountabilities. Module 6 of Authority Delegation Training provides essential information about the legal and policy frameworks governing management's procurement responsibilities. In addition to better understanding their procurement accountabilities, participants will learn about the procurement process and the materiel management life cycle.

Topics include:

  • understanding the legal and policy framework for procurement accountabilities
  • exploring the procurement process
  • reviewing the four phases of life-cycle materiel management

Notes:

To complete this training, participants must finish all eight modules of the Authority Delegation Training course. The course evaluation will only be forwarded upon the completion of Module 8.
