GCdocs is the federal government's standardized electronic document and records management solution. This course provides functional specialists responsible for their organization's information resources with the skills they need to manage the electronic and physical records stored in GCdocs throughout their life cycle. Participants will learn how to navigate and use functionalities in the records management, classification and physical objects workspaces within GCdocs.

Topics include:

  • promoting information accessibility and availability
  • viewing, creating, editing and discontinuing record series identifiers
  • performing dispositions
  • tracking information about physical items
