As the two official languages of Canada, French and English have equal status, rights and privileges as to their use in Government of Canada institutions. This online self-paced quiz provides an opportunity for all employees to assess their knowledge of the responsibilities of federal institutions regarding official languages. Participants will be quizzed on the fundamental elements of the Official Languages Act and how to comply with the Act in order to work in a bilingual public service and offer the best services possible to Canadians.
