From Aspiration to Action: Building an Inclusive Public Service

Over the past year, there has been a great deal of discussion about systemic racism and how to bring about substantive long-term changes that both create and nurture a more equitable, diverse and inclusive federal public service. In response, some organizations have established anti-racism secretariats or task forces. Another response has been the emergence of networks that give voice to Black employees across the public service.

Join us for a panel discussion on addressing anti-Black racism with Senator Wanda Thomas Bernard and Seyi Okuribido-Malcolm, among others. Our guest speakers will discuss what actions are needed going forward and what successful systemic change will look like. The panel discussion will be followed by a live Q&A session.

This event is part of the Anti-Racism Event Series of the Canada School of Public Service and is presented in collaboration with the Federal Black Employee Caucus (FBEC).
