FYN Presents Game of Gov – Gamification Workshop
Join the Federal Youth Network (FYN) and experts from the University of Waterloo's Games Institute and IMMERse Network for an interactive panel discussion and workshop on gamification—the application of game-design elements and principles in non-game contexts—and its uses with public policy development.
Featuring Professor Neil Randall, Director of the Games Institute, and other experts across North America from a diverse range of disciplines, this event will allow participants to explore how to create solutions to complex problems faced by public servants in the 21st century through gamification.
Following the panel discussion, participants will be invited to play an interactive board game featuring a multi-faceted problem that impacts all levels of government. This will be a true virtual engagement opportunity for public servants across Canada to discuss an innovative topic.
