Indigenous Languages in Canada: Worth Treasuring
To mark International Mother Language Day on February 21, 2018, the Canadian Commission for UNESCO, the School and Wapikoni Mobile are organizing an event to raise awareness of the importance of preserving Indigenous languages in Canada.
The keynote speakers will be Indigenous language specialists in various disciplines including research, the arts and social work.
