The No Wrong Door Approach to Job Accommodation
October 25, 2016 | 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (EDT) | Bilingual with interpretation in both official languages
This information session explores a "no wrong door" approach to addressing the needs of disabled or injured employees, offering an overview of the Accessibility, Accommodations and Adaptive Computer Technology Program (AAACT) at Shared Services Canada. Participants will also discover how the program's Co-operative Management Support Model can help to navigate a sometimes complex array of related technical, procedural and legal issues related to accessibility, adaptive computer technology and job accommodation.
Managers who have employees with disability or injury requiring job accommodation are encouraged to attend as well, along with all public service employees.
