Positive Space Ambassador Training
Past events
A Positive Space is a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone, including members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, two–spirit, intersex, and questioning (LGBTQ2) community.
Designed by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and the Canada School of Public Service, this two-day workshop has the following objectives:
- To raise the awareness of participants regarding gender and sexual diversity and examine how the language we use in the workplace can support inclusion and respect
- To provide participants with the necessary skills to become Positive Space Ambassadors for their teams
This learning activity has been designed for all federal public servants at no cost to learners.
