Read Me In: Demystifying Security and Intelligence Series

Canada's national security is linked to all aspects of the work undertaken in the federal public service. As such, it is imperative that public servants understand how to apply a national security lens to their files in order to protect our democratic institutions and ensure the security and prosperity of Canadians.

In this event series, senior leaders from the security and intelligence community help to demystify their work for all public servants, explaining what they do, why they do it, and how it intersects with various portfolios, programs and departments.

The series will allow participants to acquire new insight into and practical knowledge about security and intelligence from a variety of perspectives such as federal-provincial relations, continental security challenges, international relations, and work done elsewhere in the public service.
