Introduction to Emotional Intelligence for Managers

To effectively lead people, managers require a high degree of emotional intelligence—the ability to recognize and manage our own emotions, as well as those of the people around us.

This interactive session will examine how to improve emotional intelligence competencies by breaking down leadership into its basic components: self-knowledge, relationship building, effective communication and team effectiveness. With a solid understanding of these concepts, managers will be able to engage others and connect with their team in a more meaningful way.
