The Trust Series: Trust in the Age of Disinformation and Misinformation

Description

Disinformation and misinformation can damage public trust in institutions and democracy.

This event will explain how disinformation and misinformation can affect the federal government and what is being done to respond to these threats. The federal government's response includes new investments in Budget 2022 that support the coordination, development and implementation of new measures to combat disinformation and misinformation and protect Canadian democracy.

Participants will learn how current and future initiatives will help build trust and enhance resilience against disinformation and misinformation.
