Emergency information for School employees

 This webpage is intended for use by employees of the Canada School of Public Service. Canada School of Public Service employees are encouraged to visit this page as needed for information and updates about emergency situations or incidents that may affect School facilities, procedures or departmental operations. This could include natural disasters, demonstrations, problems to facilities, adverse weather events or other emergencies. This information is also available on our Emergency Information Line at 1‑844‑800‑8552.

Current status

Update as of 9:30 am on April 8, 2020:

The following provisions are in place until further notice:

  • Canada School of Public Service employees are not expected to report to work in person at any location until further notice. As of March 23, 2020, only the following areas will be available for employees to use as workspaces in the National Capital Region (NCR):
    • Académie De-La-Salle: the Agora, Edmonds/Bryce Room on C1
    • Asticou Centre: the Agora (1300), Room 1310 and Room 1354
  • Employees who choose to work from these locations must sign in and sign out at the security desk (Block E entrance at De-La-Salle and P1 main entrance at Asticou).
  • The GCcampus platform is back online. For now, only online courses are available. In-person events and classroom courses remain suspended until further notice.
