National Disability Employment Awareness Month: Benefits of Hiring Neurodiverse Employees


Many people with neurological conditions like autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and dyslexia have extraordinary talents, perspectives and skills that can benefit the public service. Yet, many neurodiverse people continue to face barriers to inclusion and social stigma.

In recognition of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, the Canada School of Public Service, Shared Services Canada, and the National Research Council of Canada have organized a panel discussion on neurodiversity inclusion. Experts will share their knowledge on topics such as the value of neurodiversity in the workplace and promoting a barrier-free environment for neurodiverse talent.

Following the panel discussion, there will be a live Q&A period.
