The Public Service Employment Act (PSEA) is designed to facilitate recruitment by offering flexibility to departments and agencies while respecting fairness, transparency, accessibility and representativeness. This course (part 2 of 2) provides staffing specialists with an opportunity to further develop their knowledge and skills associated with the legislative, administrative and values-based decision-making frameworks. Participants will learn how to advise and assist managers on merit criteria, assessment techniques and the evaluation of candidate qualifications.
