Jinny began her career in procurement while serving in the Canadian Armed Forces as a logistics officer after graduating from the Royal Military College Saint-Jean in 1993. Her military background gave her the opportunity to be deployed to Bosnia and Herzegovina and support units deployed overseas.
Jinny joined the federal public service in 2006 and worked as a procurement officer and manager at National Defence, at Public Services and Procurement Canada, and more recently at the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada.
For Jinny, teaching is an opportunity to share her experience and contribute to the procurement community in a different way.
