Meghan joined the federal public service in 2024, first as an instructional designer with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and now in the role of learning design advisor with the Canada School of Public Service. In addition to updating training for new learning facilitators, including increasing digital accessibility, she facilitates training for learning facilitators at the School. Meghan also plans and delivers professional development for the School's staff. She was part of the planning committee for LearnX 2026, helping shape the conference that reached hundreds of public servants involved in learning design.
Meghan began her career in arts and culture, developing and facilitating training for small arts organizations across Ontario to grow their sponsorship programs. Meghan spent 16 years in public education in various teaching and coaching roles. She published district resources, facilitated professional development, coached educators in their classrooms and led team conflict resolution programs. With goals to improve equity and inclusion, she led teams delivering transitional programming to parents and children about education in Ontario, many who were new to Canada or with specialized needs, and co-founded a club for 2SLGBTQIA+ students and their allies.
Meghan is a strong believer in equitable access to education and lifelong learning. She is pleased to have joined the School and to support a culture of growth in the public service.
